RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 2026
1. Scheduled Area Candidates
- Scheduled Area के candidates scheduled और non-scheduled दोनों तरह की vacancies के लिए eligible हैं।
- Non-scheduled area के candidates अगर scheduled area posts के लिए apply करेंगे तो disqualify होंगे।
- Scheduled area residence certificate Commission द्वारा मांगे जाने पर submit करना होगा।
2. Departmental Candidates (DC)
- DC category sirf concerned department के ministerial employees ke liye reserved है।
- यह Post Nos. 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 13, 23 & 26 पर ही लागू होगा।
- Application form में “DC” mention करना mandatory है – nahi toh benefit nahi milega।
- दूसरे departments के employees DC category के लिए eligible nahi हैं।
3. Non-Gazetted Employees (NGE)
- Sirf Rajasthan Government, Panchayat Samitis, and Zila Parishads ke employees eligible हैं।
- Required Experience: 01 January 2027 tak kam se kam 5 years ki service complete honi chahiye (officiating ya substantive dono valid hai)।
- Selection merit list ke order mein hoga – marks ke comparison par nahi।
- Agar sufficient NGE candidates available nahi hain, toh remaining vacancies other candidates se bhari jayengi।
Note: एक candidate DC और NGE dono categories mein apply kar sakta hai, lekin NGE category ki age relaxation DC applicants par apply nahi hogi।

Important: Age relaxations Non-Cumulative हैं – candidate sirf ek provision ka benefit le sakta hai (Divyangjan ko additional relaxation milegi)।

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2026
Preliminary Examination (Prelims)

Purpose: Sirf screening test hai – Prelims ke marks final merit mein count nahi honge।
Standard: Bachelor’s Degree Level.
OMR Answer Sheet Instructions:
- Har question ke 5 options honge (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- Sirf ek circle (bubble) BLUE BALL POINT PEN se fill karein
- Agar question nahi kar rahe toh option 5 fill karein
- Agar koi circle nahi bhara toh 1/3 mark deduct hoga
- 10% se zyada questions mein circle nahi bhara toh candidate disqualify hoga
- Checking ke liye extra 10 minutes diye jayenge
Main Examination (Mains)
Number of Candidates for Mains:
- Total vacancies ka 15 times candidates Mains ke liye select honge
- Reserved categories ke liye agar sufficient candidates nahi milte toh relaxed standard apply ho sakta hai

- Saare papers completely Hindi या completely English mein answer karne honge – mixing allowed nahi hai।
- Agar handwriting easily legible nahi hai toh marks deduct honge।
